Bush administration to be cartoon (on Comedy Central)

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Comedy Central has ordered "Lil' Bush: Resident of the United States," a cartoon satire that re-imagines President Bush and key executives in his administration as elementary school misfits.

The title character is surrounded by close pals like Lil' Cheney, who grumbles unintelligibly, and Lil' Condi, who pines for Lil' Bush and does his homework for him.

"Bush" is not without its risque moments. When Lil' Bush's school serves falafel instead of hot dogs for lunch in one episode, he and his pals torture the cafeteria employees with methods made famous during the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.

Six episodes from writer-producer Donick Cary ("The Simpsons") have been ordered to air on Comedy Central next year.

3. Elementary school misfits is
probably just what they were too. The bullies on the playground who stole lunch money and taunted littler kids. It's just what they are like today playing all grown up at the White House.

6. Will there be a Lil' Rummy?
He would be the one who walks around spouting gibberish ('known unknowns" anyone?) or asking himself questions which he then answers. (The real Rummy would've been hilarious for those reasons had it not been for the fact that he's so dangerously incompetent and an unrepentant warmonger.)

7. Since Rummy is older, he should be a Fonz-like character spewing
his unintelligible meanderings.

16. I watched "Nuked". Didn't find it that funny, to be honest.
When your pedigree includes The Simpsons, the expectations are a little higher.

18. Problem is, as I see it;
Is that it may become a hit, the way "That's my bush" was pre-9/11. The moment bush 'saved' the universe they took off that funny and well done show before it offended anyone.
