Moscow hospital fire 'kills 42' A fire at a Moscow drug rehabilitation hospital has killed at least 42 people and injured two more, reports say. The blaze broke out at the 17th hospital, in the south-west of Moscow, at 0140 on Saturday (2240 GMT Friday), the Itar-Tass agency said.

was comprised of sidewalk billboards with photographs of charred bodies.
But, really, they just didn't respond as they do in most parts of the USofA. And I lived near Leninsky Prospect, a major boulevard you'd think fire trucks would have used.
There was a fire in a building near a friend of mine's apt. and he said it burned for quite a while.

You did not see fire engines charging up/down Leninsky Prospect as you do say, Wisconsin Ave. in DC. You just didn't.
There were not nearly as many fire stations either.
