Rice warns Syria and Iran over Lebanon protests
12/12/2006 01h32

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice warned Syria and Iran in an exclusive interview with AFP that the "future of Lebanon is not an issue for negotiation."

In an exclusive interview with AFP, Rice rejected mounting calls to deal directly with Damascus and Tehran as part of efforts to end the crisis in Iraq and said the two states should have no doubts about Washington's commitment to the embattled government of Lebanon.

"In no way is the US going to get into a situation where it is even a conceivable notion on the part of Syria or Iran that the future of Lebanon would somehow be compromised for other interests of the US," she said.

"I want to make it very clear that the future of Lebanon is not an issue for negotiation with anybody," she said.

5. Did she say it with a straight face?
The article doesn't mention if she giggled out loud afterwards.
How many times can she make these proclamations and be taken seriously?
Especially, after pounding the lectern then walking away with toilet paper stuck to her shoe.

tsk, tsk, tsk!

3. The Lebanese learned for themselves
the depth of Us 'commitment" to them when Israel attacked them destroyed their country. She's right tho, no one is going to negotiate anything.

8. I was shocked to see that some Republicans want her to be our

President.

She is taking her shoes and standing on the other side of some issues from GW.

I can't wait for them to get married and retire to the pig farm.
Laura can then wear her ugly red dress to a party with her latest flame.

9. Interesting, though..
Three other guests (congressional wives) invited to the WH's Annual Christmas Party came attired in the exact same red dress the hostess of the festivities, Laura Bush, was wearing. It was said, Laura made a stealthy exit changing into a black evening frock, something she had on hand from a previous event.

*Blood Red* was featured extensively throughout the WH Christmas theme.

10. Bush's bitch sure barks a lot
Edited on Tue Dec-12-06 06:03 PM by IndianaGreen
but she ain't got no bite, no credibility, and there is nothing she (or the US) can do about it.

All the crocodile tears about Lebanon! It was the United States, and not Hezbollah, which subverted the Lebanese government by preventing the UN from voting on a cease-fire resolution.

The fuckups we have running our country thing that they can do what they want, without consequences. Perhaps the Congress, with bipartisan enablers, got them to think they would never be held accountable, but the rest of the world condemns Bush and his imperialists policies.

where she lied 3 different times in one sentence, there was no way anyone could possibly believe her.
