Dec. 19, 2006

One Marine killed in western Iraq
Multi-National Force – West PAO

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – One Marine assigned to 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit,
Special Operations Capable died Dec. 18 from wounds sustained due to enemy
action while operating in Al Anbar Province.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin
and release by the Department of Defense.

3. Alternet: Military and civilian deaths in Iraq
Dec 19 (Reuters) - A U.S. Marine died on Monday from wounds suffered in combat in Iraq's western province of Anbar, the U.S. military said.

A second U.S. soldier was killed and another injured when a Bradley Fighting Vehicle rolled over north of Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. military reported.

Following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003:
