Romney appoints 4 to bench despite vow of no "lame duck" picks
BOSTON --Gov. Romney issued four judicial nominations Wednesday, including one Superior Court judgeship, despite vowing at the beginning of November not to make any "lame duck" appointments.

...

The nominations, coming just 15 days before Romney leaves office, appear at odds with earlier statements, when the governor announced he would not make any nominations after Nov. 8.

"The governor is mindful of abuses that have taken place in the past with midnight swearing-ins," Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom said Nov. 1. "More importantly, there would not be enough time to do the thorough vetting that these lifetime appointments deserve.

Fehrnstrom added that "barring any unforeseen circumstances," the governor would not be making any more judicial appointments after the Nov. 8 Gov.'s Council meeting. "He won't be making any lame duck appointments," Fehrnstrom said.

2. Romney is a lying snake
The entire population of Massachusetts knows that. We now have a mission to inform the rest of the country, so they do't go and elect him to any higher offices.

3. Not knowing the situation fully it appears that the Governor's Council
can vote against the nomination and should be able to easily since it appears to be all or mostly Democrats.
Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 are listed as incumbents and Democrats.
District 7, 8 are also Democrats but did not run in General Election.

Is the Governor's Council going to rubber stamp Romney's nominations?
