London Braces for Attack; 'Miracle' If There Isn't One
British intelligence and law enforcement officials have passed on a grim assessment to their U.S. counterparts, "It will be a miracle if there isn't a terror attack over the holidays in London," a senior American law enforcement official tells ABCNews.com.

British police have been quietly carrying out a series of key arrests as they continue to track at least six active "plots" tied to what they call "al Qaeda of England."

Officials said they could not cite any specific date or target but said al Qaeda had planned previous operations during the Christmas holidays that had been disrupted.

"It is not a matter of if there will be an attack, but how bad the attack will be," an intelligence official told ABCNews.com.

What a surprise; the Brits don't leak this, but the Bush Administration does...

2. Seems like the Puppest Masters are quite desperate for something to happen.
To the people of London:

PLEASE do not be duped by the Propaganda we so willingly swallowed in this country.

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing credible about the "six plots" they are tracking, is that they are merely choosing which one to subject you to.

3. It's impossible to determine whether or not it's crap.
Certainly, terrorists seem to enjoy attacking London. But who knows whether any of this shit is real. I still can't take a goddamn bottle of water through security at Heathrow.

4. If it's any consolation, this is getting no media coverage in Britain
A few days ago, John Reid said something a bit like this, everyone said "yeah, whatever", and got back to the story of the Ipswich murders. That, and now the fog-bound airports, are dominating the news.

5. "Fear works?" "Fear does work, yes. You can make people do anything if they're afraid."
Moore - And how do you make them afraid?

McDermott - Well, you make them afraid by creating an aura of endless threat. They played us like an organ. They raised the orange, up to red, then they dropped it back to orange. I mean, they gave these mixed messages, which were crazy-making. They will continue, in my view, as long as this administration is in charge...oh every once in a while, stimulating everybody to be afraid. Just in case you forgot. It's not gonna go down to green or blue. It's never gonna get there. There clearly is no way that anyone...can live constantly on edge like that.

No one's buying it any longer, Messers Bliar and Bu$h.

6. So I see they gave up on New York and other US targets
and have moved on to London.

Wake up sheeple!! There is no threat against London and there is no war on Christmas either.

8. Maybe their potential patsies are getting wise.
Wondering why the aggressive new guy has all those connections to get bomb materials and is pushing so hard to get them to do some sort of attack, any attack.

11. London's "top policeman"
Sir Ian Blair just told BBC Radio Four's "Today Programme" that there is no specific terror alert for the Christmas period. Or so I thought he said...
