McCain Tested by War, Economy and Even the Weather on Latest New Hampshire Visit

By PHILIP ELLIOTT, Associated Press Writer

LITTLETON, N.H. (Associated Press) -- Republican presidential hopeful John McCain trekked to New Hampshire on Saturday, testing his appeal with rural voters and promising help for economically depressed areas while grappling with questions about the Iraq war.

His latest visit began near the central White Mountains and Lakes Region, where voters' concerns hinged more on domestic troubles _ including meager snowfall _ than the war in Iraq. That was a welcome distraction for the Arizona senator, whose support for the unpopular war is a topic he routinely tries to head off in his opening remarks to voters throughout the region.

"They are frustrated and angry and sad," McCain told reporters traveling with him on his bus. "I understand that. I really do."

At his first town hall-style meeting in Plymouth, he criticized congressional Democrats who on Friday passed a spending bill in the House to end the war in Iraq by September 2008.

Like any other pubbie he caters to the wrong folks...do you think that most people in NH have a job or income tied to snow??? A ski area is several thousand acres owned most likely by an out-of-state corporation using visa workers whom ARE legal because that is what corporations want...our entire problem is that owners who suck the gravy out of this state operate 6 months a year (summer think lakes and resorts and winter think skiing and snowmobiles) while paying their help enough to SURVIVE 6 months a year while they expect to extract 12 months worth of profits...mostly we work like all americans-at hard jobs all year...John doesn't get that-he thinks more snow will help those who live here and shovel it....so he shovels back...

2. McCain is an irrelevant sell out
Fuck him.

He has a less than zero chance of winning.

A former POW who is FOR torture and a supposed Maverick who HUGS THE ANTICHRIST who personally destroyed him with lies in the preceding election.

For McCain, it is SELF, Party, God, then WAY down the list is what is right, what is good or what is true.

What a piece of shit. Going around campaigning refusing to talk about his platform. How anyone supports him is beyond me.
