Giuliani tells Iowans he's going to win

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Rudy Giuliani isn't giving up in Iowa.
Some believe the social moderate from New York City will have trouble wooing conservative Republicans in the Midwest, but Giuliani vowed Tuesday to compete in Iowa's first-in-the-nation caucuses.
The tough-talking former prosecutor made his first appearance Tuesday in this state since his December announcement that he was forming an exploratory committee for president. His absence from Iowa over the past several months had fueled speculation that he had planned to skip the state.
Giuliani attempted to put those rumors to rest Tuesday, telling a crowd of about 350 in a high school auditorium in West Des Moines that this trip was the first of many to come.
