Pakistani blast kills 24; uproar in parliament By Kamran Haider

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A bomb killed 24 people in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday, while in the capital opposition politicians walked out of parliament, forcing the house to postpone a debate on weekend violence in Karachi.

No one claimed responsibility for the suspected suicide blast in the lobby of a hotel popular with Afghans in Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province, where militants opposed to government support for the United States have launched attacks.

There was no indication the blast was linked to weekend violence between pro-government and opposition activists in the southern city of Karachi which killed nearly 40 people.

A Reuters photographer in Peshawar saw lifeless bodies strewn amid pools of blood and body parts on the floor of the Marhaba Hotel, near a main city mosque.

Bombing in Pakistan Border Area Kills 25

Associated Press Writer

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) - A suicide bomber with a warning to spies
for America taped to his leg attacked a crowded restaurant Tuesday
near the Afghan border, killing at least 25 people days after a relative
of the Taliban's slain commander was arrested there, officials said.

Provincial police chief Sharif Virk said the message taped to the severed
leg of the bomber said spies for America would meet the same fate as
those killed and included the Persian word “Khurasan” - often used in
militant videos to describe Afghanistan.

The owner of the hotel restaurant, who was killed in the bombing, was
an Afghan with ties to an anti-Taliban warlord, and the restaurant
itself was popular with many Afghans.

Two security officials told The Associated Press that a close relative
of the Taliban military commander Mullah Dadullah was arrested in the
restaurant a few days before Tuesday's attack. The officials, who
requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, refused
to be identified.

I wonder what he said in his last will and testiment video. The MSM nver repeats the dribble they spew in those DVD's

on edit, maybe this is closely related to the bombing story

4. The article contains possible answers to that question.
As quoted paragraphs 4-5 start saying and the rest of the article
continues, the restaurant's owner had links to the party of Abdul
Rashid Dostum and a relative of Mullah Dahdullah was arrested there
a few days ago. In a dirty war like this one, that's more than enough
to get somebody killed. Payback is a plausible motive although the
AP's sources refuse to rule out others such as causing general
instability.
