Bush says summer critical for Iraq strategy
Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON, May 24 (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Thursday this summer will be a critical time for his troop buildup strategy and predicted heavy fighting in the weeks and months ahead.

Faced with demands to make progress in Iraq by September from Democrats and many Republicans, Bush told a news conference that the last troops in a 30,000-troop buildup should be in place by mid-June, and said "This summer is going to be a critical time for the new strategy."

"We expect heavy fighting in the weeks and months" ahead, Bush said. He said more American and Iraqi casualties should be expected.

4. Want the translation? What is critical is the oil. They know they

have to get out of there, they couldn't safely lay their pipelines to Israel and the Mediterranean, so they have to ship it out before we pull the troops. Yes, the summer is important to the oil companies and the citizen-victims of this world.

Exactly who told the oil executives and partners that they could own all the oil everywhere and make the citizens who live over that oil irrelevant and dead? Who told these people that they could take our young kids and use them to do it? Who told these people that they could create side businesses of mercenaries and product predators who would steal us blind and place us in debt to China and who knows who else?

We are right back where we were when these greedy fools enacted their plan to own - we knew what they were doing then and it is eminently transparent now, but they keep playing patriot games and keeping up pretenses. They are the foolers and we are the fooled.

5. He's managed to extend the war until September...
and then it will be some other hurdle to overcome...need a little more time...we'll have an assessment in December...on and on and on. At the same time, his corporate friends are stuffing more and more of our funds in their bottomless pockets.

Sheesh! Victory will come when that country is stable? It ain't ever gonna happen. Never has been, never will be.

"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron. "

Chauncey the Gardiner, indeed.

8. Sounds like Bush declaring another Friedman Unit (a.k.a. "F.U.")
as coined by the blogger Atrios.

I'm sure mid-September, mid-December and mid-March will be critical for the War on Terror too.
