Bush Says Russia won't attack Europe
Source: Yahoo News

HEILIGENDAMM, Germany - President Bush on Wednesday discounted Vladimir Putin's threat to retarget missiles on Europe, saying "Russia is not going to attack Europe."

Bush, in an interview with The Associated Press and other reporters, said no U.S. military response was required after Putin warned that Russia would take steps in response to a U.S. missile shield that would be deployed in Poland and the Czech Republic.

"Russia is not an enemy," Bush said, seeking not to inflame a heated exchange of rhetoric between Washington and Moscow. "There needs to be no military response because we're not at war with Russia. Russia is not a threat

I'm sure THAT'S reassuring to the Europeans. Especially with his 10% approval rating.

2. Oh, crap. Russia is gonna attack Europe.
If Bush's track record is any indication, we can expect the exact opposite of what he says.

7. 'There needs to be no military response because we're not at war with Russia'
Like Iraq, you mean?

:wtf:

I think we could live with a dumb president, but not one that's so dumb that he misses the irony of quotes like this.

9. Oh hell, now Putin is going to attack Europe just to prove Bush*
is an idiot and doesn't speak for him. I guess DimSon doesn't care any more for Europeans than he does US soldiers, New Yorkers, Iraqi civilians, etc. They are all collateral damage to him.

10. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
are NOT considered parts of Europe by Putin and the Russians. They consider them Russian colonies, and have for centuries. They will attack the Baltic states first.

12. Sigh...
:wtf: Sometimes I truly wonder about certain people who are in charge (or want to be) and their sanity. All the positive improvements that were done, I keep hearing :: FLUSH ::

The worst part is it's not just Clinton's positive things he's sending down the drain, it's his father and even Reagan to a degree (and there were some). I really have to wonder how on earth he has managed in 7 years to undo so many things that have been worked on and worked hard for over the last 20+ years.

There must be others helping him, one man can't break the world in that short of time. I just can't truly believe that and because of that I am scared. I already feel like I need to bend over and kiss my *** goodbye and taunting Russia certainly isn't gonna improve that.

:hurts:

14. Attack Europe?
Since when does 'retarget' mean 'attack'?

Can this guy not give any sensible comment on anything?
It somehow still does not cease to amaze me.

'Russia is not an enemy'
Indeed. But we're working on it...
