Biden courts Culinary Union in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- Blue collars workers should team up with "college white boys" to slow skyrocketing executive compensation and corporate largesse, Democratic presidential hopeful U.S. Sen. Joseph Biden told a union crowd Friday.

"It ain't just union members that don't like the fact that some compensation exceeds $300 million a year," Biden told a Culinary Workers Union contract committee at a campaign stop. "Guess what, it's white collar, college white boys that don't like that either."

Stockholders and union workers should form a coalition, the Delaware Democrat said.

Biden was the latest Democratic presidential candidate to address the powerful Nevada union as it continues contract talks with its top employers, casino giants MGM Mirage and Harrah's Entertainment Inc. The Culinary represents

2. There are a few of us
A small band of DUers who believe that Joe Biden has the experience and the talents necessary to be a superb nominee, and an even better president.

He has a very good record over 35 years. His experience, I believe, marks him out from the present field (which I think is a superb one by the way).

I made my choice the old fashioned way.

I just feel that Biden would make the best president.

That is why I am supporting him.
