APBAGHDAD (AP) — Roadside bombs killed two U.S. soldiers in separate incidents in Baghdad, and a U.S. Marine was killed in combat in Anbar province, the U.S. military said Wednesday.
One soldier died Monday when a bomb detonated during combat operations in an eastern section of the capital, the military said in a statement. Another soldier was killed and two others were wounded when their vehicle struck a bomb in southern Baghdad early Tuesday, the statement said. Both soldiers were assigned to Multi-National Division-Baghdad.
The Marine, assigned to Multi-National Force-West, was killed Tuesday while conducting combat operations in Iraq's western Anbar province, another statement said.
