2. yes
I'm curious if any of the people planning to celebrate Castro's death will go back to their homeland.

Another interesting snip ~

Paraphrasing the statement in which he turned over power, Castro said, "I don't have any doubt that our people and our revolution will fight until the last drop of blood."
"You shouldn't doubt it either, Mr. Bush!" Castro added. "I can assure you, you will never have Cuba!"
Castro blamed Washington's 45-year-old trade embargo and travel ban against Cuba for widespread hunger and malnutrition over the years.
"Our people are about to reach 50 years of cruel blockade. Thousands of children have died or been mutilated as a consequence of the dirty war against Cuba," he wrote.

quickly found one site wherein someone simply started posting points he knew about, one right after the other. As he points out, these are by no means a good reflection of the sheer VOLUME of terroristic acts perpetrated against Cuba over the years, unrelenting activity by Cuban right-wing lunatics trying to invade and destroy over and over and over.

Those of us who started following Cuban-American politics years ago have already learned about these events long ago, and far, far more:

Terrorism Against Cuba

~snip~
....The list is practically endless, but here are the most highlighted facts... October 14, 1990: Two armed terrorists sneaked into Santa Cruz del Norte as part of an action concocted in Miami. They had orders to carry out violent actions. Their weapons and false documents supplied in Miami were confiscated. They also carried literature urging people to join what they called "The Cuban Liberation Army" headed by Higinio Díaz Anne who had given them money and propaganda before they set out.September 17,1991: Two counterrevolutionaries from Miami infiltrated into Cuba. Their mission was to sabotage tourist shops to spread terror among foreign tourists. Their weapons and a radio transmitter were confiscated.December 29, 1991:Three terrorists from the so-called Commandos L group in Miami entered Cuba illegally. Their weapons and other war materiel were confiscated. These three had received training with 50 or 60 other men in a camp on 168 Street in Miami.July 4, 1992:A group of terrorists set out from the United States to attack economic targets along the Havana coastline. Once detected by Cuban patrol boats, they moved to waters off Varadero, where U.S. coastguards rescued them after their boat had a mechanical failure. The FBI released them after the confiscation of weapons, maps and videos made during their journey.July 1992:An operation to infiltrate an U.S. based terrorist into Cuba with the mission to sabotage an economic target in Villa Clara province failed. He was carrying the weapons and explosives needed for the job and had the assistance of Brothers to the Rescue who kept him informed about the position of the U.S. coastguard to make it easier for him to reach Cuban territory.September 9, 1992:The FBI arrests a Cuban born terrorist for illegal possession of firearms and violation of the Law of Neutrality. He is released without charges.October 7, 1992:An armed attack against the Varadero Meliá Hotel is perpetrated from a vessel manned by four Miami terrorists who were later arrested and questioned by the FBI, then released.October 19, 1992: Three Miami based counterrevolutionaries entered Cuba illegally with plenty of weapons and military equipment that were confiscated. At the same time, three other terrorists were arrested in the Bahamas with weapons and explosives apparently destined for Cuba, which were also seized from them. These terrorists had left Miami on October 17.January 1993:Five terrorists on board a vessel armed with heavy machine guns and other weapons were arrested by the U.S. coastguard as they were heading toward the Cuban coastline.

On edit:

They had to rethink their scheme after their assault on Cuba in these boats failed miserably.

5. They will do everything in their power to reseize the control they lost
when Cubans couldn't take their filthy, vicious government any longer and overthrew them.

Anyone with eyes to see must have noticed something over the years which points this out to him/her:
The American hostility against Cuba is very distinctive, and indeed unique. No other foreign policy toward a country has ever seen such an arsenal of coercive measures which, for the most part, violate most international conventions <1>. The American hatred for the Cuban revolution goes much further than the historical Cold War framework, completely inopportune if even minimal attention is paid to the relations between the two countries since the end of the eighteenth century.
(snip)

In reality, Mr Otto Reich, one of the most influential representatives of the neo-fascist Cuban right, deeply compromised in the international terrorism against Cuba and former White House special agent for the western hemisphere, is its intellectual author. <8> And it isn't Mr Reich's first try. Ultraconservative and intimately linked to the Cuban American National Foundation (CANF), he has been involved in low intensity conflict in Central America. Documents now declassified from the National Security Archive clearly demonstrate his responsibility for the terrorist campaign, launched against Nicaragua during the 80s, and in particular for propaganda and psychological war operations. He also took part in the coup on 11th April 2002, against Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela. <9>

Divided into six chapters, the report presents a battery of measures aimed at overthrowing the Cuban government, due to take place from 1st June 2004. The first chapter describes the means by which the Cuban revolution is to be destroyed. The other five create the basis for the future annexed Cuba. This report is added to the suffocating economic sanctions already in existence, to the organisation of multiple terrorist attacks which have already killed thousands of Cubans, to a global disinformation campaign and to powerful politic lobbying on the international scene. On top of this is the setting-up of the conditions necessary for the creation of internal subversion, aimed at reducing the revolutionary social structure to ashes.

The first part of the report deals with the creation of a "strong support program aimed at Cuban civil society", which will need to play a decisive role in the strategy to destroy the Cuban revolution. By "civil society", American authorities mean some elements of the population of the island, directed and financed by the US Interests Section, whose objective is to create the conditions that can lead to the destabilization of the country.

Among the proposed measures, the report recommends $36 million for the financing of "Cuban dissidence". Until now, the budget allocated to such "dissident groups" was $7 million. Despite the arrest of 75 people financially supported by the American government in March 2003, Washington has not given up and is increasing the monies available for potential Cuban mercenaries, as well as for NGOs which might possibly promote its political agenda. <10>

In the same chapter are some proposals that may be considered as inept, as they completely ignore the social situation in the island. For instance, the report suggests the possibility of providing medical assistance to Cubans, whereas they already benefit from total social security, designated as one of the best in the world by international institutions. <11> An education program is also proposed for the children of "dissidents" who could study in Latin-American universities, whereas UNESCO acknowledges the Cuban education system to be an area of excellence. <12>

Another initiative needs to be examined for its deceptive character. The American government discusses the need to pay a special attention to the supposed problems of Afro-Cubans. The country in which racial discrimination is part of the national heritage, where the Ku Klux Klan is still represented, where the death penalty is mainly applied against black people, where life expectancy in the ghettos of Harlem, Bronx or Chicago is similar to that in Haiti or Bangladesh, claims to worry about the fate of black Cubans. <13>
