BAGHDAD - The U.S. military announced the deaths of 14 American
troops, including five killed Thursday in a single roadside bombing
that also killed four Iraqis in Baghdad.

who have died since the war began in 2003, according to an

Press count.

The deadliest attack was a roadside bomb that struck a convoy in
northeastern Baghdad on Thursday, killing five U.S. soldiers, three
Iraqi civilians and one Iraqi interpreter, the military said.

A rocket-propelled grenade struck a vehicle in northern Baghdad
about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, killing one soldier and wounding three
others, another statement said.

BAGHDAD, June 21 (Reuters) - Eleven U.S. soldiers have been
killed in Iraq in the past 48 hours, the U.S. military said on
Thursday.

In the single worst incident, five soldiers, three Iraqi civilians
and an Iraqi interpreter were killed on Thursday when a roadside
bomb exploded near their vehicle in a northeastern district of the
capital, the U.S. military said.

Four U.S. soldiers were killed when their convoy was struck by a
roadside bomb in western Baghdad on Wednesday, the military said.

In western Anbar province, two Marines were killed in combat on
Wednesday, the military said, giving no further details.

With the deaths, 3,545 U.S. military personnel, including seven civilian employees of the Defense Department, have died in the Iraq war -- 68 of them in the month of June.

in September. I heard on a hate radio show that Congress now has a favorable rating of 14 %. They may not have the votes to pull the troops but they have enough people on the hill to make a deafening scream and they are not doing it!

36. Right before the invasion in 03 I told a repuke acquaintance
that Bush would do more harm to Iraq than Saddam had ever done. The US would destabilize it and the consequences would be horrific. Repuke just laughed at me. Bet he's not laughing anymore.
