Sun Jun 24, 2007 7:01AM EDT

KARACHI (Reuters) - Over 220 people have been killed
in accidents caused by heavy wind and rain in Pakistan's
southern city of Karachi, a provincial minister said on

Officials earlier said that 43 people had been killed in
the rain that lasted for three hours in country's biggest

When I told him about this he said, "They can't handle it." His family lives in a district far from the Ghadab area. I feel sorry for all the victims and others affected.
