Bush performs brain surgery
Source: Cleveland.com

President Bush made a 20-minute stop at the Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Center, where he performed a simulated brain surgery.

Standing before a rubber replica of a human brain, the president moved a hand-control that helps teach doctors how to implant deep brain stimulation devices. He did so under the watchful eye of neurosurgeon Ali Rezai.

The president was briefly interrupted by laughter induced by top-advisor Karl Rove, who was entertaining several reporters and White House officials nearby.

Bush spent a few minutes with several more doctors, including Roy Greenberg, who showed the president how to repair a complex aortic aneurysm on a demonstration device that allowed the president to participate.

Edited on Tue Jul-10-07 05:38 PM by superconnected
Let the fucking 4 yo play with a toy brain, under supervision and think he just did brain surgery.

Rove is probably just letting him have his playtime before he has to sit in that really long meeting and behave while they decide the collusive no-bid contracts for the iran war.

20. He's about as qualified for brain surgery.......
as he was qualified to be President. The outcome for both patients (our country and the poor SOB who's brain he'd operate on) would also be the same. Deadly.

Replica my ass! Sounds like * was performing surgery on himself. No, perhaps not...to perform surgery on himself, he would have to have the help of a Veterinarian who specializes in working on the ass of a horse.
