Roadside blasts kill three US soldiers in Iraq

Three US soldiers were killed in Iraq by roadside bombs
while they were on patrol in the capital, the military
said on Wednesday.

The first two soldiers died after a roadside bomb went
off near their vehicle as they patrolled in the western
side of Baghdad on Tuesday, the military said.

A third soldier was killed and four others wounded in
a similar blast in eastern Baghdad on the same day, it
said in a separate statement, adding that US forces
then killed two insurgents allegedly involved in the
attack.

The latest fatalities bring the military's losses in Iraq
since the March 2003 invasion to 3,621, according to
an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.

2. one can only conclude that the republick party wants
our soldiers dead -- and what have they died for?

weapons of mass destruction -- where are they?

the ineffective iraqi democracy? -- they're taking the month of august off.

less violence in baghdad? -- a big bomb went off there today.

there is no honour in this mess that bushco has created and that the republick party has stood and is standing behind.
