Task Force Marne Soldier attacked
Multi-National Division – Center PAO


BAGHDAD — A Task Force Marne Soldier was killed by small
arms fire July 19 near Rushdi Mullah.

The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification
of the next of kin.

1. Naming it Task Force Marne is more symbolic than they think
Yes, the Allies won the battle in 1914, but 500,00 casualties out of 2 million in the battle is not good.
