Kucinich back in Washington after food poisoning
Source: CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich is back on Capitol Hill Thursday, three days after a particularly strong bout of food poisoning landed the Ohio congressman in a Cleveland-area hospital.

Campaign spokesman Andy Juniewicz tells CNN that Kucinich has been released from the hospital after 2 days of treatment for the sickness. Juniewicz said he has returned to Washington and “resumed his full schedule of Congressional duties.”

“He’s fully recovered,” Juniewicz added.

The Ohio congressman started feeling ill Sunday before flying to Florida for a campaign appearance. He became sicker in Florida, and was forced to cut the trip short to return to Cleveland.

3. Ironic, huh? I want to know
where and what he got for food poisoning..no one seems to be reporting on that.

I'm vegan too and I wanna know what he ate. Instead of just the mysterious "food poisoning".

7. I sure would appreciate a little more information....
I'm not sold on the food poisoning claim....no other victims.....

Cardiac stents can be placed in 2 days! Just guessing because this story has holes....I have no evidence of such a clinical event or need but just want to throw out the fact that other things could of happened medically.

10. Dennis should give a full accounting of where and what he ate over the previous 48 hrs.
Since he is a public official...the public has a right to know.
Otherwise, the tin foil conspirecies will spin out of control.

14. It's strange. I went to dinner with my seminar at an Indian place.
There were about ten of us. I got food poisoning and was really sick for a few days, hospital, the whole deal. No one else did.

6. I Guess We'll See If This Was Accidental Food Poisoning Soon Enough.....
if DK starts backing down from his outspokeness over *Co, Cheney and this so-called war - we'll know if this accidental food poisoning was a warning or not.

11. Who would really benefit by whacking Dennis?
snip
...Kucinich ....made waves last week when he charged that fellow White House hopefuls Hillary Clinton and John Edwards were acting like “imperial candidates” who “sought to determine who is allowed to speak to the American public and who is not.”

16. Dennis is pretty much a threat to all the powers that be
Perhaps he has no chance of winning? ...but his IDEAS ARE DANGEROUS!

Who keeps exposing the lies about Iraq and Iran?
Who is exposing the truth about our Healthcare for profit system, and who stands the most to lose if he succeeds?
Then there are the oil companies who stand to lose money as he exposes their "hot fuel" scam.
The prison industrial complex stands to lose money if he ends the drug war...
Pretty much all of the evil powers will lose $$ with the Kucinich platform....
that is why WE THE PEOPLE LOVE HIM!

15. This occured right before Kucinich was supposed to spend several days in Alaska
Kucinich ended up tying Kerry at the Democratic convention in Alaska, but because of his food poisoning he was not able to go to Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska with most of the population. If he had made it, he would have won the state for sure.
