SoCal port talks to resume Tuesday

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Contract talks with clerical workers at the nation's largest port complex will resume Tuesday.

Clerks have submitted their final offer to shipping companies -- raising the possibility of a strike if the offer is rejected.

Wages and an employer-proposed health plan changes for new hires were in dispute.

The twin ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles handle more than 40% of all cargo container traffic coming into the US.
