Task Force Marne Soldier died of wounds
Multi-National Division – Center PAO

BAGHDAD — A Task Force Marne Soldier died of wounds sustained
after an improvised explosive device attack July 22 .

The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of
the next of kin.

Soldiers attacked during combat logistics patrol
13th SC(E), LSA ANACONDA PAO


LSA ANACONDA, Iraq – A 13th SC(E) Soldier was killed July 21
as a result of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive
device detonated near his Humvee while conducting a combat
logistics patrol south of Samarra, Iraq.

Two other Soldiers sustained injuries in the blast and were
treated by Coalition Forces’ medical personnel and are awaiting
further medical assessment.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification
of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
