3. It's not actually "in their country"...
It's in an area adjacent, outside Pakistan's abiluty to govern. The Paki's claim it, but they don't run. One of the many things that makes me different than Bush is that I want bin Laden caught/killed. Bush wants him free/loose so he can attack us again.

11. Please don't use the term "Pakis"
That's very offensive. Otherwise I agree with you. :hi:

could take a big hit, were he to capture or off Osama.

Bush gave him a huge head start, to get the fuck out of Dodge after 9/11. When Osama didn't cross the Pakistan border in time, the Cheerleader-in-Chief had to get creative in guiding him out of harm's way.

Sort of like a spider your wife wants out of the house, but that you don't want to kill. You find it a new safe haven.

6. See reply #5 below.
The headline was incomplete. This is if Bin Laden is confirmed to be in Pakistan. A similar story was out yesterday with that detail but.. a poster replied to the effect of, yeah, last time we let them know where he was, they told him to get moving. (No idea of the context, but Pakistan's main foreign intel service is well known as a historical supporter of the Taliban, at least.)

8. Gotta love those pro-American dictators like Musharaff...
Yeah, I know he's on "our" side in the war on terror, but do you ever think he's been more of a headache than a help?

If bin Laden or other al Qaeda higher-ups ARE in Pakistan then our "ally" should be rooting them out and handing us their heads. If they won't, then we should just do what we need to do.

Hearing things like this makes me very, very annoyed and downright angry.

9. Seems like he's doing exactly as the warmongers would like him to do.
Can't have an endless war on terra without lots of boogeymen running around to point to so you can fund the other war for oil.
