Plane returns to Sea-Tac after reported threat

An airplane that departed from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport early this afternoon has returned following a non-specific threat made by someone on the plane, an airport spokesperson said.

Just on as breaking news, bound for Memphis, was turned around and sent back to Sea-Tac due to "an unspecified bomb threat."

I suppose this is the next step in the terror propaganda.
They said be afraid but we were not
They knocked down some building with some planes and the fear worked for a while.
They said al Queda did it, many believed and many were afraid.
They said Saddam wanted to kill us, some were afraid
They said Saddam was responsible for 9/11 and some believed, some still do
They said bin Laden didn't matter any more (WHAT?) but still be afraid
They stole an election and didn't need fear for a while
Down in the polls, cronies in trouble with the law, we need some fear SO:
They said they had a gut feeling and the media went nuts with the propaganda, the people were not afraid
They said that the terrorist were coming to America or were already here, the people still were not afraid
They said you can take cigarette lighters on planes now - What's up with that?
They said that terrorist were planning on attacking American soil, HO HUM, not again?
Since no one is buying it they say that terrorist are running dry runs "last fall" but there is "no credible threat" And we were supposed to be afraid, yeah right!
Still not afraid they say: How about a bomb threat on an air plane? Wait a minute, If the TSA is searching everything we own an the NSA is listening to everything we say or type, how could a terrorist get into this country and take a bomb on to an airplane?

Yeah, they are keeping us safer?

as far as the "dry runs", I'll be the data is valid. $10 says it is some agency running tests on TSA to see if they are still really looking at anything. I worked the TSA roll out and I know they were conducting such tests from the get go and probably still are. I bet in another few months we'll a hear about some report on the TSA based on tests run over the past 18 months or so. Like so many things with this administration what facts they leave out are equally important (if not more so)as the facts they choose to release. It's all in how you frame the data.

"SEATAC, Wash. -- A Northwest Airlines flight returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday after a man said there was a bomb on the plane, though investigators do not believe the threat was credible.

Airport spokeswoman Terri Anne Betancourt said a passenger who had cleared a security checkpoint told an employee at the gate that a bomb was on Northwest Airlines flight 980.

Betancourt said the man was ticketed to be on the flight but did not check any luggage and was never on the plane, which left Seattle about 12:30 p.m. She said the man's motive was unclear, but "it was clear he wanted the plane to come back.""
