"Iraq have reached their ever first final of the AFC Asian Cup beating the Republic of Korea 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the first semi-final game in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 25.
"Both Iraq and the Republic of Korea failed to break the deadlock after 120 minutes and had to go through a penalty shoot-out, in which goalie Noor Sabri tipped aside Yeom Ki-hun’s effort while and Kim Jung-woo hit the post.
"The semi-final defeat means that the Korean side have yet to end their 47 year title drought and will have to wait for at least four more years to put an end to it."

Ironically, The Iraqis have been training for the tournment in South Korea. Final is between Iraq and Saudi Arabia Sunday evening (local time) in Jakarta.
