Small Quake Shakes Southland

RIDGECREST, Calif. -- A small earthquake struck early Thursday morning in northern San Bernardino County, but there were no reports of damage or injury, officials said.

The 3.2-magnitude temblor struck at 1 a.m. and was centered about 6 miles east of Ridgecrest, according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey. The desert area is near the China Lake Naval Weapons Center.

Seems when there is a shake in one place, there are complementary shakes in answer to the shifting of the plates. Have to wonder if there's a huge one in this pattern getting ready to go.

The biggest 'quake would like to see is in the WH..a real shake up (or shakedown)re: Plame CIA investigation.
