About 6,000 Outdoor Lounge Chairs Recalled
Source: Newsnet5

POSTED: 3:29 pm EDT August 10, 2007

WASHINGTON -- About 6,000 outdoor lounge chairs that were sold at Lowe's stores have been recalled because they could break while in the reclined position.

LG Sourcing, Inc., has received seven reports of the Garden Treasures Cloud 9 Beyond chairs breaking, resulting in minor injuries such as bruising to the back, hips, shoulders, arms and a torn ligament, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recalled chairs are tan in color, with a light steel frame. They also have a cloth seat, a pillow at the headrest and an adjustable sun visor.

The chairs, which were manufactured in China, were sold at Lowe's retail outlet stores nationwide from December 2006 through April 2007, according to the CPSC.

Consumers should stop using the chairs immediately and return them to a Lowe's store for a full refund.

For more information, call LG Sourcing at 866-493-6560 or visit www.lowes.com

11. I don't blame everything shitty made is from China
The zero_turn POS lawn mower I bought four years ago has(had) four "Made in the U.S.A" stickers. I have had to re-build everything. Tne motor is the only thing that hasn't broke.

I'll be so happy next year when I'll buy a new, better mower.

12. We test-sat on those
when we were looking for deck furniture earlier this summer. They felt flimsy. We wound up getting some nice ones from Target that are made in Indonesia with sustainably harvested wood.
