2003 Deadly Year for US Journalists
The war in Iraq has helped to make 2003 a deadly year for US journalists, says the Committee to Protect Journalists watchdog group.
A total of 36 journalists were killed during 2003, 13 in Iraq alone. This is the highest death toll in one year, since 1995, when 24 journalists were killed in Algeria.
