Senator and filmmaker take on Fox News
Source: Yahoo

Condemning the Fox News Channel as a warmonger that's agitating for a U.S. attack on Iran, documentary filmmaker Robert Greenwald and independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders announced an "online viral video campaign" Wednesday calling on television news organizations "not to follow Fox down the road to war again."

Greenwald, the director behind "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism" and "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price," has compiled a new three-minute video that mashes clips from Fox's coverage of the 2003 invasion of Iraq and its aftermath with recent coverage of possible U.S. military action against Iran.

The video and an accompanying "open letter" to ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN — viewable at http://www.FoxAttacks.com — urge news organizations to ask tough questions about administration policy on Iran and say citizens should pressure them to do so.

Three telephone messages to Fox in New York seeking comment were not returned Wednesday.

4. defenders
You know of course that the typical fux noise groupie many of which may be found here:http://www.newshounds.us/ would tell you your sentiment is "hateful" and that you are advocating censorship and an abrogation of the first amendment. This ,of course, would be right after they'd defended the illegal surveillance programs and any other measure the busheviks might enact to keep them safe from the terrorists.
I think their real test and possibly their downfall will come after we elect a president who's not a republic. Can they function as a legitimate news outlet and not as a propaganda arm for the republic party?I'd hope that more and more people are seeing them for what they truly are.But then even Quisling and the Vichy government had their adherents.

3. I grew up in Vermont
and lived in Burlington when Bernie was mayor. I don't recall if I met him or not, but he was never afraid to do the right thing.

I can tell you that Burlington was a hell of a fun place to live at the time. Sort of a San Francisco of the East. This would have been the early 1980s. It was fun, people cared. I wish Bernie would run for President.

6. He would have my vote and support....
But if he announced, you would never see so much corporate money come out in opposition.

7. It would be great to think it would motivate a dormant part of the American public
to come to his aid, in response. It's so hard to believe what we've been living with is really what the American public wants for their real world.

I'm sure you're right that there would be a WILD reaction from the clowns who have been controlling our country while we basically slept.

9. Good, except it's not just Faux. CNN is a worse offender IMO.
At least Faux doesn't pretend to be non-biased like the other "news" channels.

11. Their marketing dept certainly pretends, but the content is obvious.
Ask a Faux viewer if they really think Faux is "Fair and Balanced". Even they admit it's not.

12. Don't get me wrong, I know exactly what you are saying
but you would be shocked at how many of the freepish idiots actually think and dare I say believe that Fox isn't biased.
