Democrat Dodd's office burglarized (by homeless man)
Source: Yahoo

Gilbert Soto, 48, who lives in a city shelter and has a lengthy arrest record, allegedly took a television, computer and other items from Dodd's Senate district office, police said Monday.

"It does not appear right now that he knew he was breaking into a presidential candidate's office or that there was any political motivation," Assistant Police Chief Neil Dryfe said.

Officers recovered the stolen television and computer Monday after Soto took them to the spots where he allegedly sold the items, police said.

Dodd was a sponsor of HAVA...(Abromoff,Ney,CNP,vote rigging)

Just saying..

found this post in my Journal..(which I have ignored for some time)

It was back in November 2005, at the breaking of the Abromoff scandal..I read through the postings in this past thread and was amazed at how we DUers linked together the Abromoff,Ney, Diebold, vote scandal, HAVA = Help America Vote Act..designed to replace the old voting system with an easier electronic one.
This was the origin of vote rigging via DIEBOLD & ES&S..
Dodd was also a sponsor of HAVA wich causes some concern of taint.

This is the link to the 2005 posting. Read #9, & 11, 26 etc. which speaks of Dodd, though brief..I am reminded just how dirty the Bush cabal operated. Also how much more we know now than we did back then.
Maybe this has something to do with the BREAK-IN of Dodds Office.
(maybe its just a theory)

(from dupe posting earlier today)

I am always suspicious when these people are involved in anything reported in a simple and innocent form. Always suspicious.
What's your tinfoil take on this theory..hmmm?

13. believe so, but what would someone be looking for in Dodds
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 10:52 AM by Blaze Diem
Senate Office..maybe something was 'planted' there and we'll hear about this shortly. Maybe to silence him? a warning?

I'm curious about Abromoff, Ney and what incriminating dirt connects them to Dodd..if any.. and if this has anything to do with HAVA.

---------
Maybe Dodd thinks he'll be the next President for supporting HAVA? ha

many were disinfranchised..and many more will be this next year's election, if BushCo has anything to say about it.
I do believe they are already working on the vote rigging of 2008.
We haven't seen the last of these people.

What I do know is that Dodd is connected to vote rigging in some fashion.

15. Maybe not to sabatoge but to silence or for revenge or to
send someone a sign of sorts, like the "aspens turning 'thing,
One neveer knows with these people. But tinfoil always suspects a hidden agenda.hmmm

I believe there is something more to this than a simple random theft.

17. Maybe doesn't have anything to do with his invisible candidacy
but what someone like Abromoff might be revealing.
Maybe its an inside job..maybe one of Dodd's own doing.
I don't know enough at this point to attach any of these theories to this event..but without speculation we simply accept what is reported.

I've learned with this admim that damn near everything is handled as slight-of-hand. deception.

3. I'm remembering the "bums" seen in Dealey Plaza

Nov. 22, 1964. Allegedly they were E. Howard Hunt and one of the other guys who would later be among the "Watergate burglars." Dressed as bums.

Homeless guy steals computer from Dodd's office? What might be on that computer?

No :tinfoilhat: needed to think this could be more than a simple burglary.

6. Dodd is a tool
Sorry, I know this is a democrat site, but Dodd is a symptom as much as the repugs of everything that is wrong with the congreffs. He is a mouthpiece for the bankers and scum bags as much as Bush is. I like my tinfoil as much as the next guy, but my feeling is that Dodd is the victim of his own "strong economy" bs. Hopefully this isn't the last time the huddled masses get a piece of hizzazz.

12. Pretty clever homeless guy (although that is certainly possible)
"Officers were called Sunday afternoon when a property manager found the building's front door unlocked. Detectives determined that the suspect went into an adjacent parking garage sometime before dawn Sunday, used wood planks to create a makeshift walkway to a second-floor window, and broke into Dodd's office there, Dryfe said.

The suspect took the items out through the front door, he said. The building has an alarm system, but police never received a report that it had been activated, Dryfe said."

Watergate started off as a botched burglary, so you never know about these things.
