Federal judge dismisses Hillary Clinton from Flowers defamation lawsuit
Federal judge dismisses Hillary Clinton from Flowers defamation lawsuit

Saturday, January 3, 2004

(01-03) 17:07 PST LAS VEGAS (AP) --

A federal judge has dismissed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton from a lawsuit that accused her of conspiring with political advisers to discredit Gennifer Flowers after Flowers said she had an affair with Bill Clinton.

U.S. District Judge Philip Pro ruled in late November that the conspiracy claim against the former first lady was barred by Nevada's four-year statute of limitations, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Saturday.

According to the Web site for Judicial Watch, the public interest group that represents Flowers, the organization plans to appeal.

"In the meantime, Ms. Flowers looks forward to getting her day in court against Hillary's coconspirators in the smear campaign against her -- George Stephanopoulos and James Carville," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.

1. If there statute of limitations has expired, no appeal can reverse that
How can one "discredit" Gennifer Flowers? That tart is no virgin!

2. So much for Judicial Watch trying for creditability
I thought maybe when they sued Cheney (but obviously not very successfully) they were going to try to be something besides Clinton haters but they're STILL defending Genifer Flowers?? Guess that says it all....

3. Wonder if perennial
pathological Clinton-hater Richard Mellon Scaife is bankrolling Flowers just like he did Paula Jones, in his never-ending quest to destroy the Clintons in any way possible. And repukes claiming any kind of "smear campaign" against them obviously have no understanding at all of the words IRONY and HYPOCRISY.

5. If the Clinton's off'd Vince.....?
How come they haven't done in Scaife? I mean they are so sinister and have such a network of hired assassins who go around killing all their enemies. So how come Scaife is still above ground?

4. JW called a "public interest group"?
If that doesn't prove we're living in "1984" nothing does!
