Schwarzenegger disappoints British Conservatives

California governor and former movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has pulled out of appearing in person at the Tory Party conference.

The Republican politician was to make a keynote address on climate change at the conference later this month.

He will now speak via a live video link because political commitments meant he was unable to travel to the UK.

He was scheduled to give the speech on 30 September, the opening day of the conference. He will not now give a full speech and his appearance has been shortened.
