As Folk Singer Supports Kerry, He Objects, Too

Mr. Yarrow said that Mr. Kerry told him had seen information that justified the war.
"He said, `Peter, I'm on the intelligence committee,' " Mr. Yarrow said. "I know they
have weaponry, nuclear weaponry, and I have the absolute assurance they'll go
only with the United Nations. He was like everybody else Ñ lied to by people who
have no honor."

Mr. Kerry's advisers tried to end the scene, telling Mr. Yarrow that the senator was
on the bus. Mr. Yarrow started for the door but did an about-face when he saw Mr.
Kerry was still in the room.

"John is over there. John is not done talking," Mr. Yarrow said. "Don't try to move
me when I'm still talking."

1. Very good. It is so different from the Repugs.
You would never hear such honesty at a GOP gathering.

4. Peter knows Kerry well. He knows he's no imperialist
and knows he is no "corrupt Washington insider" like the Dean camp wants voters to believe.

5. But why is Kerry okay with James Baker?
Democrat Would Name Top Envoy to Mideast Process

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic White House hopeful John Kerry said on Wednesday he would quickly appoint an ambassador to the Middle East peace process -- and named two former presidents and an ex-secretary of state as likely candidates -- if he won the 2004 election.

The Massachusetts senator is one of nine Democrats vying for the right to challenge President Bush as he seeks a second term next year. Kerry said among "the handful of uniquely qualified" Americans he would consider for the post were past Democratic Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, as well as Republican James Baker, a former secretary of state.

Why is Kerry willing to work with the prime bagman for the Bush family? The same guy who fixed the election for Bush, according to his own words?

I want to like Kerry, but there's so much not to like. I can't understand his being able to work with a man like Baker.

6. Zhade,your right on!That SKull and Bone loyalty is too strong &disturbing.
Yes, if he can have his arm twisted to give Bush all power for war,
then any Fratboy can twist his arm when he is President.

Appreciate the apollogy for his signing for the war but would be scarey if he becomes President.
