Bin Laden urges fight against 'Gulf occupation' (excerpts fm. tape)
"My message is to incite you against the conspiracies, especially those uncovered by the occupation of the crusaders in Baghdad under the pretext of weapons of mass destruction, and also the situation in under the deceptions of the road map and the Geneva initiative," the speaker said.

A Mideast peace plan dubbed the Geneva Accord was launched on Dececember 1 by Italian and Palestinian negotiators. The road map refers to a US-backed plan for a Palestinian state.

"We have to liberate the Islamic world from the military occupation of the Crusaders by raising up the banner of jihad for God's sake," the speaker said. He called the Middle East issues part of a religious and economic war, saying the "big powers" were trying to control the region for its oil.

"The occupation of Iraq is the beginning of the full occupation of the other Gulf states. ... The Gulf is the key for control of the world in the point of view of the big powers because of the presence of the biggest deposits of oil."

2. This is concerning,...
,...particularly when he states, "The occupation of Iraq is the beginning of the full occupation of the other Gulf states. ... The Gulf is the key for control of the world in the point of view of the big powers because of the presence of the biggest deposits of oil."

I guess he read the PNAC, huh.

3. Or maybe...just maybe...
that "voice" on the tape is a PNAC product. Think about it, there
really hasn't been a "big" backlash at Iraq's invasion...no
"muslim uprising"...nothing. Maybe somebody wants to instigate the
uprising in order to say: "You see! We were right, they DO hate
us..."

:tinfoilhat: ---->> these are going to be in vogue once again...

4. I was wondering if he was still using speech writers
from the CIA or maybe that new department of propaganda that they set up at the Pentagon?

5. Oh, I suppose anything is possible,...
,...even an ME news service conspiring with the neo-cons (or being manipulated by them). But, the intention either way appears to incite....doncha think?

At any rate, here is another link about the tape

6. Wow, I don't remember him focusing on economic power or the big powers
before. I might have missed it. Wasn't his rallying call for the purity of Islam, the evil of the Infidel culture, stuff like that?

He's using our invasion of Iraq the same way Shrub and Co. Used 9-11 to rally people.

9. Ahhh, I get it. Sort of like the Iraqis picked up on the War for Oil
rhetoric. Pay attention to what is being said by those you want to rally then speak to them in their own language.

11. LOL they keep resurrecting bin laden, more times than jesus so far!
He's like the energizer bunny!

So in 2 weeks there will be a little article on how it wasn't bin laden after all.

Cause us real folks know he's been dead for more than 2 years now. But it serves well the bush regime to keep the corpse propped up.

13. I wonder if this has hit tv media yet,...
I hardly ever watch it anymore. If it is intended to manipulate US masses, I certainly expect it to hit those tv sets quickly.

14. interesting theory being bandied about at FR
To: knak; Shermy; Dog; Angelus Errare
He attacks what he calls their "stand against Palestinian resistance as took place at the Sharm al-Sheikh summit in 1996 (an anti-terrorism summit), and at the Beirut Arab summit (2002)".

Is this guy taking credit for the last two plane crashes?

FSH604 had just departed Sharm-al-Sheikh for Cairo. UTA141 was travelling from Cotonou to Beirut.
