7 Americans Killed in Iraq Attacks

BAGHDAD (AP) - Four U.S. Marines were killed in fighting in
Anbar province, and three were killed by a roadside bomb in
northern Iraq, the military said Friday.

The four Marines were killed Thursday while conducting combat
operations in Anbar, a predominantly Sunni province west of
Baghdad that has seen a recent drop in violence, according to
a statement.

Three soldiers also were killed Thursday when a bomb exploded
near their vehicle in the northern Ninevah province, the
military said separately.

it is his second tour.When one of the many fundies I work with said"well,he WANTS to be there,right?"she just cast her eyes down and said-"He doesn't have a choice".I have talked to her in the past.She told me she doesn't want to appear to not "support the troops"...so she has his picures on her locker all red-white-and-blue.I just told her whenever she needed to talk,I'd be there.I feel for her.
