Police lose video evidence in sex case

LONDON, Ohio
A London, Ohio, man accused of using his cell phone to videotape two female students having sex was convicted even though police failed to download and preserve the evidence.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Antonio Fuller videotaped an 18-year-old having sex with a 15-year-old at a party and sent the video to his friends.

Police Chief Peter Tobin says the officer thought he had preserved the video when he forwarded it from Fuller's phone to the police e-mail account.

But when the video was deleted from Fuller's phone or the phone contract was terminated, the link in the e-mail no longer linked to anything.

The article doesn't say. By the way, in OH, the age of consent is 16.
So, was the 18 year old charged with anything?

6. it was beyond sarcasm

there is not a word to describe my disdain for such bullshit so-called law enforcement while the world goes to hell in a handbasket, and the waste of energy in reporting on it. I guess because it had the words sex and "two females" it belonged in the paper. Somehow i think if that cop lost the paperwork on a traffic ticket it wouldn't make the papers.

I stumbled across the damned thing while searching for articles about KIA. Could not find anything on the 19-year-old who was just blown to bits, but this made the paper.
