U.S. official calls bin Laden 'virtually impotent'
Sun Sep 9, 2007 11:36PM IST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -
President George W. Bush's homeland security adviser said on Sunday al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is "virtually impotent" and can do little more than send videotaped messages.

Top White House aide Fran Townsend said U.S. officials were studying bin Laden's new video tape for clues to his health or whereabouts, and whether there were any hidden meanings or messages.

But she said there was no sign of an imminent attack. "This is a man on the run in a cave who is virtually impotent other than his ability to get these messages out," Townsend said on CNN's "Late Edition." "It is propaganda. "Based on our experience, we have never seen bin Laden use a tape to trigger any operational activity."

Bin Laden made his first video appearance in nearly three years in a new tape released on Friday ahead of the sixth anniversary of al Qaeda's Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.

they can't declare him dead, they have to declare him 'impotent.'

35. Those grapes are probably sour anyway
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." - G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'" - G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county . Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...." - Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool, The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." - G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him." - G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts, 3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

12. More public officials need to burn on bin Laden in the media and on the internet
start lampooning his cave dweller mentality, not hunker down and cower at the mention of his name.

the new videotaped message from al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is nearly impossible for Americans to understand.

"Who can be so deluded as he is?" Romney said.

Romney told reporters afterward that bin Laden's ideas on Americans being coerced into converting to Islam "are not in line with rational thought."

In the 26-minute video, bin Laden compares the Iraq war to Vietnam, criticizes the Democratic Party for failing to prompt a U.S. pullout from Iraq and encourages Americans to welcome Islam. He does not make any direct warning of an imminent attack.

"The whole radical jihadist movement is extraordinarily misguided and evil and is a form of delusion,"

19. Subject: MUCH more than that: Triggers associative gestalt-based propaganda
that is the most sophisticated the world has ever seen, by a long sight. It HAS to be, for it has, in only TWICE the time it took Hitler to brink Germany to the "point of no return" 1936-7 Bush has sold, through rebranding, tyanny and the New Totalitarianism to perhap the free-est people that ever lived in all of human history (damned close to #1 in personal freedom, if we weren't #1, in the years 1945-2000).

Follow me now:

1) Right now, Busheviks are skillfully seperating the Democrats from their base (which is needed to win in 2008, even more than piles o' cash) and, as usual the Democrats are running like hell from their base, scurrying back when called to their Master's heel, capitulating, refusing to take substantive action, evne when felony evdience is laying all around and subpeonas diaregarded, etc. etc. ETC.

2) Bushevik Propaganda is a skillful construct involving the latest techniques in advertising and public relations, both of which, along with psychology, have progressed to the point of forging an "atomic bomb" of a tool, which is orders of magnitude more powerful than anything any dictator has had control of in all of human history.

3) It is multi-pronged, and multi-phasic. It would take a 90-page thesis or more to go into all aspects at length. To summarize, it creates a False-Reality Bubble while ALLOWING the truth to squeak out so far as to retain some window-dressing qualities of it's "freedom" Imperial Amerika allows some things previous totaslitarianisms would have considered unacceptable by far.

4) As such, and one must think as an advertiser/PR person here to figure through this (take lots of showers, you'll need them), it relies on associate selling and branding (these are not scientific terms...you would have to dig through sociology and psychology textbooks to find those) to achieve it's aims subconsciously, just as nearly 100% of ALL MEDIA ADVERTISEMENT does. This is the truth. Read a year's worth of Advertising Age Magazine, if you can stomach it :puke:

5) Home stretch here: NOW using these principles, your mission is to subconsciously create associations of Democrats with negative characteristicss, i.e. weakness, impotence, and fear of terrorism. The strategy with this facet of this Bushie False Reality Bubble (and remember, this is LITERALLY one small facet of a hundred-pronged strategy) is to make these associations aqnd how best to do it?

a) Start with the Obviously Phony Bin Laden Tape, which undoubtedly will be taken as Gospel by 99% of Americans, even those who should very much know better (for one does not get 99% of anything without 98% of our Democratic brothers and sisters who make up the rank and file as we do).
In it, the Bushies wrote Osama to sound more like Obama or Michael Moore, as they have done before, although this time they couldn't resist throwing in a Bushie jab at high taxes. Funny, if you think about it, this exposure, which often these Bushies can't resist in their propaganda, a kind of "in your face".

b) Now the direct and conscious association of Bin Laden sounding like a Liberal Democrat instead of the Right-Wing Fundamentalist Wahhabist that he is creates longer term uneasiness and bad feelings, partiuclarly as this has been a constant and repetitious pounding of this catapulted propaganda, it is pretty much one of their main associate thrusts.

c) Then the actual Democratic Leadership helps out, as usual, by walking face first into the right uppercut to the chin and BING! The association is cemented and now has repeated roots in reality, to boot! How this effect is created is worthy of a 15-page chapter in and of itself, and thus cannot be addressed here in detail.

And there you have a closer look at one part of a massive assault on the very sanity of a nation, utilizing the most intense and multifaceted propaganda tools that, I believe, are the mental equivalent of Nuclear Bombs.

Carl Jung was right. The Wars of the Future will not be fought so much against ourselves as against our psychoses.

He could just not predict the specific details of how such a future would look. Just as we can see the trends, but cannot predict what the Final Form of the Amerikan Version of BushPutinist Tyranny will be.

But I fear we have no more than 20 years before we will all be finding out.

With bandar bush being in the family and all, it just wouldn't be cool to arrest and try one of his family members.
