DefenseNews/AFPThe new head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards warned Washington on Sept. 11 that Tehran has identified "U.S. weak points" in Iraq and Afghanistan and would give a decisive response to any attack, state broadcasting reported.
"The Revolutionary Guards have identified all the weak points of the enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan and based on this have consolidated the defensive capabilities of the country," Gen. Mohammad Ali Jaafari said. "And if the enemy wants to take any impudent action the Islamic republic will for sure give a decisive and teeth-breaking response."
The United States has never ruled out military action against Tehran over its controversial nuclear program, which Iran insists is peaceful but Washington says is aimed at making weapons.
