BAGHDAD

A roadside bomb killed a US soldier Tuesday northeast
of Baghdad, the military said.

The Task Force Lightning soldier was killed in an
explosion near a vehicle in Diyala province, according
to a brief statement that provided no further details.

US troops have launched a series of offensives to clear
the area of insurgents.

The death raised to at least 3,799 members of the US
military who have died since the Iraq war started in
March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

3. Clinton has changed her view of Iraq to Bushs strategy of...
lets wait and see whats happening later. The number of deaths may keep climbing for another 4 years if the media is right in who the next president is. Its scary that she would change her position as she gets stronger in the polls, its like she knows she has it so now back to business as usual. I feel for our soldiers and their families.
