Iraq PM Maliki questions future of Blackwater
Wed Oct 3, 2007 3:04pm EDT

By Aseel Kami

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri
al-Maliki questioned on Wednesday whether U.S.
private security firm Blackwater had any future role
in Iraq because of the high number of shooting
incidents in which it had been involved.

Maliki appeared to toughen his stand again against
Blackwater over a September 16 shooting in Baghdad
in which 11 Iraqis died, an incident that sparked
outrage among Iraqis who see the firm as a private
army which acts with impunity.

In Washington, a House of Representatives committee
heard in testy hearings on Tuesday that Blackwater
guards had been involved in 195 shooting incidents
in Iraq from the start of 2005 until September 12
this year, an average of 1.4 a week.

"I believe the big numbers of accusations directed
against (Blackwater) do not make it valid to stay in
Iraq," Maliki told a news conference in Baghdad.

3. BW is a target, now.
And needed US Army to protect them protecting diplomats.
Whatever has to be done to ensure obscene profits during illegal occupations.

4. "Iraqis who see the firm as a private army which acts with impunity."
I must be part Iraqi, cause that's how I see BW, too. I'm so ashamed of my country.

6. The Criminal Bush and the Criminal Gang at Blackwater...
are turning America into a Criminal Nation; much like Hitler
and his Blackshirts turned Germany into a Criminal Nation.

7. So, the government that Bush built is saying "no" to Blackwater?
I want to see how this turns out... Bush invades to depose Saddam because he has WMDs--no wait, he really doesn't, so Bush claims to be "spreading democracy"--no wait, it's the "terrorists" in Iraq, who weren't there before Bush invaded that Bush wants to eradicate. So now the sovereign government that Bush helped put in power with his "purple finger" campaign is now actually acting like a sovereign government, the last thing Bush wants them to do, and ordering Bush's murderous madmen out of Iraq? Will Bush clamp down on the government he helped create? Damn, I need a score card!

So much for spreading democracy.
