Court reinstates Spisak death sentence.

A serial killer who terrorized the campus of Cleveland State University 25 years ago must continue to sit on death row and face execution, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.

Justices - by a 6-3 vote - discarded an appeals court decision that granted Frank Spisak, 56, a new sentencing hearing. A jury convicted Spisak of killing three people over a seven-month span in 1982.

3. he tried to solicit sex from a black minister in a bathroom, and got turned down...

... and then he shot the minister. Prosecutors said that's how he got started murdering people.

He later murdered a white man whom he suspected of knowing somehow that he had killed the minster. Spisak also killed a 17-year-old boy he may have believed was Jewish. He wounded or shot at a number of other people.
