4. For comparison: Pataki and SUNY: convert SUNY into a system which
produces people suitable for whatever jobs industry asks for and not much else.

5. HA HA HA HA
The tiny amount of joy I get out of this is that my conservative Republican brother is a grad student at State. Sorry pal, you helped put him in office, now it's time to pay like the rest.

My apologies and sympathy to all other students, of course...

7. well it's not a tax. I understand this is what he has to do. my only
problem with it is if davis had proposed this they (press) would have ripped him a new one. but for arnuld it's all nice and peachy.

8. Folks, I'm by no means a repuke
However, we Californios have a severe budget problem, no matter who is @ fault. The fact that the "action hero" has displayed a desire to work for the co-opperation of our Democratic legislature is good sign. Our Democraticly dominated Assembly & Senate realize that drastic actions are now necessary. All I can say is: Arnold seems to be cognizant of the fact that he is dependent upon experienced, savy politicals that are not in the mood to listen to very much partisan horse shit...... Wouldn't it be great to have a Democratic congress to keep the chimp in line!
