RANGER, Ga., Jan. 8 — Four people — including a 10-month-old baby — were found shot to death early Thursday in two homes in northwest Georgia, and three young girls were missing and feared kidnapped.

The sheriff says the suspect was on a chain-gang while in jail, and vows to put him back on the chain-gang in that jail? He puts murderers on chain-gangs? What kind of mentality/ego trip does this sheriff have? I thought prisoners that they have out picking up trash,etc, were low-risk? :shrug:

16. Local news: car spotted in Shreveport, LA

Louisiana State Police said someone fitting the description of the suspect in a vehicle matching a 1991 Ford Explorer was spotted near Shreveport, which sits at the intersection of Interstates 20 and 49, close to both the Texas and Arkansas state lines.

Said Capt. Mike Edmondson: "It was either this gentleman or somebody who fit his description."
