Clark Tries to Ride Above Criticism:CNN
But during a New Hampshire visit in October 2002 for congressional candidate Katrina Swett, Clark said he supported the resolution and would advise Swett to vote for it if she were in Congress.

"I just had lost track of where the resolution was," Clark said, explaining that he favored a version of the resolution that would have required Bush to return to Congress before going to war.

"I wasn't a candidate, I wasn't in the military, I didn't have a staff, I didn't have a briefer, I was in a business, and I was up here to do her a personal favor," he said."

So is Clark saying he didn't have his handlers so he should be excused?

Had to revise per mods

He was in business. Do you know the details of every bill? I mean you have a job right. You have never been in politics right? He knows what his position is and testified to congress. BTW, that's the smae position as Dean, no matter how Dean now tells it.

BTW, this article isn't LBN. It has been out for 2 days.

2. Dean Opposed War Early and Often
Clark took money from CNN to hype the war to the American people while at the same time lobbying for defense and homeland security contracts.

3. Clark is right where I want him
To be the front runner now has liabilities: Dean is the subject of all the attacks from the other cadidates, the media and the Goopers. Clark is now the clear #2. He is subjected to less criticism and is becoming the most realistic alternative to Dean for undecideds and supporters of the other DLC candidates (Lieberman) and DLC-light candidates (Edwards, Kerry, Gephardt). Meanwhile, Kucinich and Sharpton(God Bless Them!) are taking votes from Dean on the Left.
