Bush economic advisers: Tax cuts will create jobs
"Barely a week into an election year, the U.S. Department of Labor said the national unemployment rate had dropped to 5.7 percent in December -- but that drop came largely because 309,000 people dropped out of the U.S. workforce. And the number of new jobs created in November was revised downward, to 43,000. "

Are these American jobs we are talking about, or exported jobs??

3. Public to BUsh..... huge gifts to corps... and only 1,000 jobs
nation wide in a month... when there needs to be 300,000 nationwide a month to break even (get back all the jobs lost in your first three years?)

Time for a new program. Because we have to use a looking glass to see the all the 'new jobs' your current policies have created.

6. Bush economic advisers S-U-C-K!!!!!
They are one-sided, one-minded, one-dimensional job KILLERS!!! And the theories upon which they advise are a BIG, FAT FAILURE!!!!

We need genuinely intelligent, "thinking" people to be providing advice about the future of economic policy based upon real life changes in a brand new world instead of these backward pulled people.

Do you have any idea how many book-cookers, and spinmiesters it takes to make the numbers look good? That's got to represent a lot of new jobs in the lying and bullshit industry.

12. I don't know what's wrong with you people.
All you want is instant gratification. Economic recoveries take time.

At December's rate it will take a mere 225 years to reclaim the 2.7 million jobs lost. Sit back, have a beer and keep sending out those resumes. You'll probably need some new job skills in the next 100 years but there's plenty of time for retraining.

20. Why Wait?
The Bush apologists will just sit there on the panels and bloviate how we only passed an "itty bitty" tax cuts, which resulted in having negative 300,000 growth in payroll employment.

Just think, if we passed the original $746 billion tax cut, we would have enjoyed a negative growth of 600,000 jobs.

Isn't voodoo economics phun? :eyes:

19. Insane like a fox.
These are tax-cuts for the rich. So they are getting their expected outcome. As long as the Moron-Americans keep allowing Bush to do these things, they will keep doing it to them, to make themselves richer and richer and the average American poorer and poorer...
