Fox seeks to open U.S. borders
Mexican President Vicente Fox yesterday said he favors open borders across North America, not amnesty for his countrymen illegally residing in the United States.
The alien work program announced last week by President Bush would not encourage aliens to remain in the United States, because they love their home country, the Mexican president told the "Fox News Sunday" program.
"We are not looking for an amnesty Mexico. It's not that we're looking for these Mexicans working productively in the United States to become U.S. citizens. They like tacos, they like their families, they like their community, they like Mexico. Unfortunately, they don't have the opportunities that they would like to have as persons, so that's why they move," Mr. Fox said.
Mr. Fox said all immigration barriers should be removed to allow people to live and work in the country of their choosing, whether it be Mexico, the United States or Canada.

1. Well that's an interesting proposal from Fox. Seems he and the Chimp
have been at odds since Chimp "Usurped" the Presidency. Wasn't Vincente one of Chimp's best buddies? Didn't Chimp make all sorts of promises to
him before the selection?

I wonder if there's a leader of any Country in the world left who loves the Usurper. Maybe Koizumi who's dedicated to funding our US Debt, and that guy who runs Italy, and maybe Poland. But otherwise, there aren't too many.

How insensitive of Vicente to even consider such an outlandish proposal during a time of terrorist crises in the Estados Unidos?????

Ok, satire off now...

on edit...my spelling in Spanish is worse (if that's possible) from my spelling in English!

3. Does this mean that Mexico will revise its policy of not
allowing non-citizens of Mexico to own Mexican land and houses? Right now, citizens of U.S. and Canada can only lease land/houses for 99 years--never own or pass on to relatives.

And will U.S. citizens be able to pop over the border for decent healthcare in Canada? I doubt it. That would destroy their system. Wait, maybe that's the whole idea...

5. That's because it's a nutty plan
Unless we form a total confederation of the three states and I think that would harm the U.S. and massively benefit Mexico.

I am all for organized immigration, but that's over the top.
