By Lauren Williams
December 21, 2007 12:00am

THE Japanese Government plans to build a "super" factory whaling ship, committing to another 40 years of whaling operations, Greenpeace said yesterday.

Greenpeace made the explosive allegations in claiming Mitsubishi Heavy Industries may be in discussion with a government loan agency to build a replacement to the ageing Nisshin Maru, which is on whaling operations in the Southern Ocean Sanctuary.

4. They already kill more whales than anybody wants to eat
They can't even give enough of it away in school lunches, nor sell it as dog food. But damned if they don't want to kill more.

Fucking idiots.

11. The whales may get their revenge
If the sea levels rise enough, most or all of Japan may end up under water.

13. That would make a great movie.
The year is 2040. Because of climate change spurred on partly by Japanese industry, half of Tokyo is under water. And then the whales ATTACK!

18. If the Japanese govt. is in the whaling business...
other govts should covertly fund Sea Shepherd and turn away all whalers from their ports.

19. It would be wonderful to see a grass-roots effort made to encourage governments to turn away
these clowns from their ports.

Maybe protests could be launched by citizens everywhere they go ashore.

They should NOT be allowed to make this decision which affects the entire worlds' interests.
