2. I checked Google News and, evidently, this story does not appear in any U.S. papers.
Wouldn't want the American people to know that their industry giants are betting against them.

Who cares about the US government, why are corporations leaving America behind?

Though I'll admit, the $600 laptop I got isn't half-bad, and useful on those trips if I need to write...

11. $600 laptop ...

A $1000 laptop would be just as appealing if our mean wages have not stagnated vs inflation for the last 35 years. It's a race to the bottom.

Facility To Be China's Biggest Foreign High-Tech Investment

POSTED: 1:36 am EDT March 26, 2007

BEIJING -- Intel Corporation announced Monday it will build a $2.5 billion chip factory in China.

It will give the U.S. company a bigger presence in the booming Chinese market and boost Beijing's effort to attract high-tech investment.

The factory will produce chipsets, a key component in personal computers, mobile phones and other products.

The facility will be Intel's first wafer fabrication factory in Asia and its first built from scratch since 1992.

The Intel factory will be China's biggest foreign high-tech investment to date.

16. But we were told all the corporate tax cuts would result in "greater investment"
The Republicans just didn't mention that by "greater investment", they meant "greater investment" in other nations.
