Clinton campaign manager is replaced
Source: CNN

CNN) — Former Hillary Clinton chief of staff Maggie Williams will take over as campaign manager, Clinton staffers were told today. Current campaign manager and longtime friend Patti Solis Doyle will assume the role of senior adviser.

The switch has been rumored for more than a month – ever since Election Day in New Hampshire, when it was revealed that Williams would be joining the campaign in the wake of Clinton’s loss in the Iowa caucuses. At the time, Solis Doyle was urged to remain on board.

3. Nothing wrong with that. There needs to be an LBN post.
If you hadn't done it, I would have.

I'm just a tad confused as to which candidate post belong in LBN vs. which don't.

I decided to alert on my post and ask the mods to decide if it belonged in LBN.

12. It had been rumored for longer than that.
Solis Doyle's campaign management style was question ever since Iowa, but due to loyalty, she had been kept in the top post until today.

5. senior advisor, my ass.
Solis Doyle has been the source of much trouble within the campaign. Her personality and abrasiveness has translated into resentment and anger.

The original announcement of her appointment shocked many, especially experienced political consultants. Her big claim to fame, after being a good, loyal, young, inexperienced FOH, was her big brother, and aldercritter in Chicago.

Had they done this before Iowa, the whole delegate picture would be different.

15. Start the Scapegoating. It couldn't be the candidate! No...
Hillary is going down in flames because of her idiotic IWR vote and refusal to apologize. The numerous other votes in favor of corporate interests over the citizenry aren't helping either. I fully expect to see more subordinates step down as the DINO/DLC candidate flounders.

18. About freakin' time!
What on earth took so long. Of course, Penn is still there, advising and guiding things. Damn. Even though I'm supporting Obama, I don't take any pleasure in watching her campaign sell her short.
