BOE Chairman Will Not Be Reappointed (OH)

AKRON, Ohio -- There will be a shakeup for the Summit County Republican party Thursday morning.

The secretary of state will not reappoint the party's chairman, Alex Arshinkoff, to the Summit County Board of Elections.

Jennifer Brunner told the Akron Beacon Journal, NewsChannel5's news partner, that she received complaints from both Republicans and Democrats about Arshinkoff.

She decided he was no longer fit to serve on the board.

Just think, the Summit GOP is supposed to be organizing to run a replacement for gop congressman Ralph Regula. Instead, they are imploding.
